Can walk to Armand Circle or take the bus for 75 cents. The bus comes by at 17 minutes after the hour like clockwork. The route starts at the south end if Ben Franklin Dr at 15 mins past. Stay on the bus until it pulls into the transfer station in Sarasota. There is a Whole Foods across the street and Main Street is 2 blocks away. The bus leaves at a quarter til the hour. Take a shopping bag and little canvas cooler with a frozen 6 oz bottle of water and you're all set. This is a total beach, pool , and dining vacation. No car, no parking, no traffic. The bus goes by Marie Selby's place . You know, Marie was from WV too.

The hotel was great. The people were nice and helpful. Really clean room with comfortable beds. The housekeeper even ran the dishwasher for us one day and did a few dishes another. The beach was great. Not to crowded. Lots of beach chairs and pool chairs. Loved the two pools, One for adults, one for families. Also plenty of parking. Will be back.
Last minute-on the beach!

Hotel was as posted online. Clean, close to St Armand's circle, beautiful beach and friendly staff. We upgraded to a beachfront room and were able to negotiate a better deal than online. There rate was however a much lower price than the hotel website. The kitchenettes are nice but the grocery store is up Longboat key so stop on your way in. The area is congested when driving due to St Armand's circle but the circle has some great restaurants and unique shops. If you are looking to just hit the beach, I'd look on Longboat key or Anna Maria island. Overall, a very nice place and we'd stay again.

The hotel was clean, friendly and quick with all services. They shuttle to the airport and the 'circle' shopping center at no charge. When I checked in a couple hours early, my Jr. Suite was not ready so they immediately upgraded my room to a 1 bedrm suite! I stayed on the 10th floor with a Gulf view that was gorgeous. One of the best beaches I've visited. I highly recommend this beach hotel.
