The room was well decorated and comfortable. The self-serve breakfast buffet, included in the room rate, was very good and had a surprising variety of food. My daughter particularly liked the waffles that you made yourself.
As we were leaving, the maid was entering our room. As we were getting into the car, she ran up with my daughter's Gameboy that was inadvertantly left in the room. We wouldn't have missed it for several hours so I apreciate her initiative in literally running out the door to find us as well as her honesty.
Couldn't stop shivering!!

Very nice rooms, breakfast was good too...but the pool was freezing, it was intolerable for me, but the kids had purple lips. And even worse....the pool closed way too early - at 8PM!!

I have visited allentown several times and it is one of my favourite vacation spot. But, this newly built hotel is the "JEWEL IN THE CROWN". I came in late around 9.00pm and had no reservation. We tried some hotels across the street from Dorney Park. But to my astonishment even hotels which looked just standard were extravagantly priced. We decided to get out of the exit and take 22W. To our surprise we found this hotel.
We found a preety reasonable price at this hotel and the front desk person was very friendly so we decided to take the room. When we entered the room me and my family were so surprised to see the sheer bliss of luxury. They had given us a room with a full kitchenate. The bed was so comfortable. In the morning we had a great swim at the indoor heated pool and a full hot breakfast with eggs, strawberry stuffed wafals, biscuts and gravy ,mouth watering cinamon buns and capppaccino free of charge."They mean to give us what they promise"said my wife.My children were very happy with my new invention.A worth trying place.

This hotel was basically just ok. The rooms did not make your skin crawl, but there was not a lot that was impressive, and some stuff just stunk! Entering the pool area was a strong moldy odor. Also, they must have used a super-wide angle lens, because the pool was tiny (15 feet by 12 feet). Also, the pool was supposed to be heated but was cold. One chair in the business center was totally broken (the back was missing and laying on the floor). At breakfast, the juice machine was broken, so no juice for anyone! I asked if they could go out and buy juice to serve us while they wait for the machine to be fixed, but I was met with blank stares. I suspect the owners of the hotel try to save money by telling the one night guests that things are broken and will be fixed tomorrow, long after you're gone. As I said, it wasn't horrible, but I definitely won't stay here again.
Best of its kind

Not the highest rating because it compares to a major vacation resort, but as compared to other hotels in its class. Everything is new as it just opened in March, 2007. Bedding better than normal, bathroom larger and tiled much nicer than normal. Even the grounds were landscaped and more eye appealing than most in its class. Very handy location in a well-lit, safe area and surroundings. Decent breakfast included. Good, wireless internet connection. Tiny fitness room and tiny pool won't appeal to people looking for those features, but that's not why we stayed there.
