Stay at the 4 Seasons not the Inn on Fifth

The hotel is beautiful, the location is great. BUT the service was not that impressive when we booked a top floor suite overlooking fifth avenue. We were married in Naples and were debating between staying here or at a well known high end resort for the 2 nights before we honeymooned. My new bride opted for the Inn and when we arrived at the large suite, our jacuzzi tub was visibly dirty. We phoned the front desk and were told someone would come up. We left for the evening and got back late only to discover that the tub was still dirty. I called the next morning and once again we left to enjoy the day. Once again when we returned and the tub was the same. I called down to the concierge and explained the situation only to be rudely told that the tub was in fact cleaned earlier in the day. The tub was clearly soiled with someone's hair and soap scum and it didn't belong to me or my wife (We didn't use the tub). After one too many calls to the front desk, I gave up and we didn't get to use our jetted tub that we paid for. The person at the desk was rude, and had the 4 Seasons not been booked we would have sacrificed one nights rate at the Inn to leave.
The place is nice, but when you pay top dollar for a suite in an upscale Inn you expect to be treated nicely. We will never stay here again as a result of this situation. When I called the 4 Seasons the booking agent was awesome. Maybe the staff at Inn on Fifth should call the 4 Seasons and hear what customer service sounds like.

We were in Naples in the early part of October. The hotel was excellent. Our only complaints would be that the pool/hot tub closed too early ... would have enjoyed a late night dip and the pub stopped serving food at 9 p.m. ... What's with that. Everything else was extremely comfortable. Would definitely come again. Rent a small car ... parking is tight.

The hotel is a boutique hotel in the heart of Fifth Avenue. It was decorated for the holidays, and it was breathtaking. It is surrounded by excellent restaurants, shopping and night life.
I was disappointed that there wasn't a bathtub in the room, but the size of the shower made up for it. The room was comparable to a junior suite in a 4 star hotel in Chicago.
I would definitely recommend it to the sophisticated traveler. It is not for the college crowd.
Front Desk at check-in was friendly and the Bellman was helpful. The pool was not crowded,as it was off season. It was easily accessible from the second floor.
I would definitly stay there again.

This is a gem of a hotel perfectly situated in the middle of Naples' fine dining establishments. The lobby exudes charm, the pool area is picturesque, and the staff is friendly without being intrusive. Room was small but nice. I was in the area to attend a seminar in Bonita Beach, 20 miles north at Hyatt Regency, but my wife and I stayed here anyway and are glad we did.
