Good value close to Colonial Williamsburg!

Hotel is clean, and very nice. Still undergoing some renovations, but our room was a new one...modern amenities, immaculately clean bathroom (marble sink-top). Hallways and lobby are still bland and uninspiring, but the rooms are very nice. (I don't stay at hotels to spend my whole stay in them!) Walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg, parking ample on-site.

Isn't all that great

For the price o the room, I expected the indoor pool to be nicer and at least the bathroom to have sliding doors on the tub which fit. The phone in the bathroom fell off the wall and the heating lamp switch would never turn off. We were upgraded to a suite since our reserved room was not available but we were not informed that and they tried to charge us for the original price of the room. Room service would not ANSWER their phone though once an order was placed, the delivery and food was fast and not too bad. Breakfast prices in the restuarant were better than the resturants near by.

This hotel was an excellent value for the money. It had many nice details like the cd to help you go to sleep. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The courtyard was full of mature trees that also surrounded the outside pool. The only downside was we chose a weekend that MANY teenage girls there for a softball tournament also chose! The staff was very accomodating, allowing us a late check-out and extra time at the pool. Next time I'd love to make it past the shopping and eating, to Busch Gardens and other attractions with the kids.

Crowne Plaza was Perfect!

This was a great choice. I have no regrets or complaints. The room was clean and comfortable, the lobby and customer service was nice. The only things that bothered me was that you had to go through multiple steps to turn the television stations and that I didn't know that I had to pay for local calls. I'm not sure if the local calls problem was an oversight on my part. Other than that, I would recommend staying at the Crowne Plaza.

Awful Experience

Didn't get the room I was promised. Hallways are extremely noisy. Showers are meant for anyone under 5 feet tall. Holes in the wall and tears in wallpaper. Staff was very unhelpful. Would never stay here again.
