Stayed 3 nights during daughter's graduation from college. It was a very busy weekend and lots and lots of activity but the staff handled it fairly well. The internet connections worked great.

Would not stay here again, the rooms are noisy if in wrong wing of the hotel (train tracks, busy road) staff attitude was poor at best. I had a concern the first night and that warranted speaking with a manager and he acted like he could care less. All in all for the money spent for the name you can save yourself some dough and do much better at the same time.

Our stay at the hotel was good . Our room was very clean. Service was good. Also the food at the restaurant was good. We were minutes from many of the local attractions. We will be back again on our next visit.

I was very pleased with the hotel. Staff was overly friendly, They should take some better pictures because this hotel is much nicer than it appears. The only down sides were the small bathrooms and they mustve been in an airplane when they photographed the pool because its much smaller than it looks in the picture. I would def. stay again!

We loved it here and wish we could have stayed longer. It was a short drive to Busch gardens and a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg. It was the site of the original Fort Magruder, and the hotel did a good job of preserving the mound where they fought the battle. It was an unbelievable feeling to be standing on the very spot where a battle was fought! Artifacts from the battle were on display inside the hotel lobby (cool). There was a free internet connection and two pools, one inside and one outside. We enjoyed the bar downstairs and loved sneaking out after the kids went to sleep for a drink and some adult time. There is a restaurant right there in the hotel, but there are also two pancake houses within walking distance that beckoned to us. They were both good. The room was clean and spacious and had a little refrigerator in the room, and the staff was excellent. I would stay here again in a minute, it was a real find.
