Hotel met all my expectations. Was just as described. Big pool, friendly staff, clean room, good parking. Easy access to interstate. Hotel desk staff gave great restaurant recommendations from pricey to budget and let me choose. They printed up maps for me for restaurants. I also witnessed desk staff deal with elderly guest who had become disoriented and fallen in parking lot. They were very professional, concerned about his well-being and followed through by sending personal representative to room to contact family. Would feel very safe here. Can't compliment the staff enough. Will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity. I understand it is under relatively new management (6/09) and they are doing a great job.
Great Hotel Stay

We were in Austin visiting family. We had no problems with this hotel. We got there well before check in time and they had no problem getting us into a room. The a/c worked very well, there was an abundence of hot water and water pressure, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool area was great. It was helpful having a shallow section for my two year old to play in. The only complaints I have is the rules of the pool are not enforced. There were too many unsupervised kid in the pool and too many people drinking bottled beer. Next time we are in Austin with out a doubt we will stay there again.

I made the mistake of staying sight unseen and of believing the advertisement on ammenities. There was only limited high speed internet access in some rooms not all. The desk help was attrocious upon check in and even worse upon check out. They could not make the simplest of tasks painless and showed their incompetence.

This hotel is awful. Smelly, ants in sink & bathtub, inattentive staff. TERRIBLE!
