Not the greatest experience

After leaving our room on Friday morning we returned around 7:00pm to find the door of our room wide open, held open by a towel. After checking our belongings and not finding anything missing, we called the front desk and requested that someone come and look at how we found our room. It appeared that housekeeping had left the door open and had not completed cleaning the room. We don't know how long the room was open, but it is unacceptable to allow this to happen. While we didn't loose anything this time, I wonder what they would have done if we would have found our clothes or other items missing. Not how you want to find your room after a day of meetings.

We had the best continental breakfast we ever had in all our travels so far. We also loved the plush towels and nice bedding.

A wonderful Place To Stay

My husband and I went for our anniversary and it has always been his dream to visit all the John Deere places there.Our stay at Holiday Inn Express was wonderful.Clean,beds sleep terific,nice staff, clean rooms,quiet and affordable.Would recommend to anyone.

Bad Experience

Hotel had wet carpets throughout my stay. Rooms were dirty. No telephone service for four days. Keys didn't work on most occasions. Staff largely ignored distress of travelers during this fiasco.
