Nicest Chain Hotel in Tulsa
We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend, and were impressed. Very comfortable beds, clean bathroom, and the room was spacious. It was a quiet room that was on the Club Level, and it was worth paying extra for being on the Club Level. The Club Level lounge is open every day for breakfast and light snacks at dinner time except on Saturdays. The lounge is accessable anytime to grab free water, coffee soda or tea.
Occupancy was exceedingly low due to being the 4th of July weekend, and thus the room was exceptionally quiet. My only complaint about the hotel was that this 4 Star Hotel had its main restaurant that is supposedly one of the best Renaissance Hotel restaurants chain-wide, closed during our visit. They currently offer a 3 course prix-fix menu of a limited number of items for $20 which is quite reasonable considering that it costs $20 for most of the entrees by themselves.
Despite the restaurant being closed that night, we dined at a restaurant close by to the hotel. There are MANY restaurants located in close proximity to the hotel on 71st Street, dubbed "restaurant row" because of the plethora of restaurants located on the street.
One thing tourists should know, is that Tulsa is VERY spread out with an extremely poor Bus system, and it's hard to get around Tulsa without having a car. [although there are some restaurants in a 0.5 walk from the hotel]
If on visit to Tulsa for business or pleasure, I'd highly recommend the Renasisance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center

I was only impressed with the hotel's pool and workout areas. The high speed internet was not free, the restaurant was obscenely expensive and you could hear every door close in your corner of the hotel.
Poor Convention Center

The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Every member of the staff was helpful and interested in doing whatever they could to make my stay a great one. I was able to have a mini fridge and microwave brought to my room. Room service was prompt and the food warm. The restaraunt had great service and food. I had the Lobster Bisque on Friday night and it was so good I went back for more on Saturday evening.
Now if they could just lower the price and keep the same service and quality.....

The hotel staff was fantastic. They had maps to downtown Tulsa and directed us to restaurants and attractions, made dinner reservations and even printed us out a map to a nearby Catholic Church we could attend. Price was a little steep for the room, but the service made up for it.
