Great Vacation Destination for Family

We stayed 4 nights at the Legacy Golf Resort. Previously, we've stayed at another large resort in Scottsdale, but we wanted a smaller resort this time. This resort was perfect for us. The suites were nice and it was helpful to have a fridge and cooking options. We don't golf, but took advantage of the pool. It was relaxing. The resort even has fun activities for the kids and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was just okay and the prices were high. They do participate in restaurants.com if you pre-plan, you can get a $25 off certificate. Scottsdale is fairly close and there were some great restaurants not far from the resort including The Pepper Grill Cafe off 40th and Randall. Definitely worth trying for breakfast or lunch. We would come back.

Very Nice

Although we did not golf, we had a very nice time at this resort. Pool area was large, clean, and kid friendly. The room was adequate - clean enough - would have been nice to be a little farther from the pool area and have a view other than the parking lot but overall, very nice. The hide a bed in the couch was not comfortable at all so would recommend getting a larger suite if staying with more than 2 people.

nice resort but...

Loved the rooms, golfing, and beauty of the resort. However the beautiful pool area caters to children not adults. There are five areas of play things for the kids but they are spread out over the whole pool area, so if you are trying to read a book or relax the kids seem to be everywhere. Not to mention the kids dominate the hot tub area. There is a small hot tub for adults only in a small fenced off area, but block walls surround it so you can't catch a breeze and you have only a view of the locker room doors. I think they need to rethink the activities for the kids and keep it to one area.

Our stay was very good! The room was always clean, the staff was very efficient and friendly! We wished the pool bar area was open past 4 pm. Even my children got thirsty and no drinks available. But, all in all very nice place to stay!

This hotel is awesome! I reccomend it. I liked everything from the housekeeping to the facilities. The manager Megan Ram?rez is an excellent person and she did all she can do to make me feel well like home.
