Close to all the sights but quiet. Lovely grounds. Fun to watch the float planes and ferries. Lovely room with nice view. Food in the restaurant was also very good. Would definitely stay there again.
Nice hotel, good price, but noisy

We loved our room at Laurel Point and it was in a very convenient location since we arrived on the Victoria Clipper from Seattle. We were able to walk to the hotel in just a few minutes along the waterfront. The room had a modern feel which I really liked, and it seemed clean and was comfortable. The bed was pretty good.
The only thing was was that it was noisy. We could hear word for word conversations in the next room and the noise from the hallway was incredible with doors opening and closing, people walking and talking, etc. Our room had a door in it that could open up to the next room if people had booked both rooms, so I don't know if that contributed to the noise between the rooms, but it was the worst I've ever had in a hotel.
The view was great and it was fun seeing the boats and seaplanes go by. That was all noisy, too, but it was during the day so it was fine. There was a little balcony to step out on and enjoy the view and air.
The staff was excellent and stored our luggage for us all day after we checked out. Everyone was quick, efficient, and friendly.
So, though we did like the hotel, the price, and the location, we would not likely stay there again due to the interior noise.

We had reservations and got to the rooms that faced some trees and another hotel across the harbour. The rooms were very dated, including a 19" tv that had a remote control adapter on the side of it. Just bad feeling room. I went and ask about the other rooms on the newer side and was told I could pay a difference of about $*** a room, which is about double what we reserved. Just wanted to let others know to be careful and ask for the new side of hotel. One good thing is it is a close walk to inner harbour, but there are other hotels there that are closer. GOOD LUCK

A two night get-away for wife and me. Our room overlooked the Inner Harbour and the Japanese Garden. Wonderful king bed with the most comfy blanket I've ever slept under. Room was clean and bright. Hotel was just about empty. Hot tub was not working. Short walk from ferry terminal.

My seven days at the Inn at Laurel Point were outstanding! Service was excellent, the room was inviting, soothing, and tastefully decorated. The view from my room was astounding--directly overlooking the Inner Harbor with its changing scenes! The float planes and U.S. ferries glide within 100-feet of the hotel, but you can't hear them. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the perfect place to sightsee and relax in Victoria.
