Great location and outstanding service

I would stay here again. The staff was very courteous and customer friendly.
Always looking to please the customer. Buffet breakfast a bit pricey and selection limited,
but the food was good. Location was accessible to multiple modes of transportation.
Easy access for driving, but public transportation was very close. I stopped using the rental car.
Location was close to much of the Sydney Center City and sights.
There were times that we walked to places because of proximity. Most transportation was close.
Shopping a two minute walk away
I would recommend without any reservations.

Right downtown and close to all the major venues, transportation facilities, shopping, restaurants, etc. Very clean, efficiently run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great value for the money. Would stay away from the hotel restaurant (especially breakfast!) as it's way overpriced. There are other nearby restaurants with plenty of food options. Bus, rail, monorail, and tram are all nearby.

This hotel is not fancy, however it is clean with nicely appointed basic rooms and good service. The location is very central to public transportation which was very nice.

The Holiday Inn Darling Harbour is very convenient for enjoying Sydney. It's only a few minutes walk from the parks at Darling Harbor, Cockle Bay Wharf, the Convention Center, and King Street Wharf. The hotel is right on the edge of Chinatown, so there are Asian restaurants galore. Public transportation is easily accessible. The hotel staff is accomodating and will arrange tours and transportation. The room we had was moderately priced but comfortable.

This Hotel's location was wonderful. The bus tours around the city had a stop right across from Hotel so you could go anywhere and get back. The large market was 1 block away.
