Will never stay again!

Appeared to not have been dusted in weeks. You could write you name on the furniture. Carpets were filthy! We put dirty towels down to make a path so that we did not have to touch them. When we arrived there were no towels, bath rags, soap etc. We had to go get them ourselves and it took 3 visits to the front desk before they had any towels. There was dirt, grease and grim around all light covers. In fact, the lamp on the desk didn't even have any light bulbs. Someone had taken a cigar, opened it up and then scattered it on the floor between the beds. We knew the floor had not been vaccuumed in a while because the tobacco from the cigar had not been touched and looked like it had been there for a while. The inside of the shower curtain had black, greasy handprints on it as well as lots of mildew. We needed to use the phone to call a restaurant and even it was covered in grime and dirt. knob in shower to turn on the water was broken. We have never stayed in such a filthy room. When I asked to speak to the manager the next morning about problems with the room, the young lady at the desk rolled her eyes and stated that he was not in. She didn't even bother to apologize for the room or offer to give me his card or even ask me what the problem was.

Tip to the houskeeper--this isn't your home--we expect cleanliness

I usually leave a tip for the houskeeper, however, her tip this time is going to be the following. 1. Clean the "bugar" off the wall directly in front of the toilet 2. Do away with the cobwebs over the bathroom door 3. Wipe up the hair and bits of rolled toilet paper from beside and behind the toilet 4. At least spray down the dried soapy handprints on two of the three surround tub walls 5. Clean up the built up dirt in the corner by the tub in front of the toilet 6. Wipe the BM off the side of the toilet tank next to the handle 7. Change the moldy shower curtain 8. Clean the towel racks, even the bottom. Mold and rust and who knows what else is living there 9. Find a chemicle that will clean the yellow ring around the inside back of the toilet 10. Clean the BM off the bathroom door jam. 11. What good is a coffee pot in the room if you don't have any coffee? 12. Always check the alarm clock in the room. Having it go off at 11pm isn't kewl. 13. If patron is wandering around looking for staff, finding them sitting in the breakfast room at 7pm watching TV isn't confidence building.

I know that this hotel previously got good reviews, but........

I booked a room at this hotel based on the reviews from other people. I'm not sure if the hotel is under new management or what because it was a terrible experience. When me and my wife opened the door to our room it reeked of cigarette smoke. There was an odor in the bathroom with something floating in the toilet, yes you know what i mean. There was left over coffee in the coffee pot, the blanket had holes in it due to cigarette burns, and some of the pillows were white some yellow so i assume that they were stained. We decided to turned on the TV to relax from the long drive and it wouldn't work. I called the front desk and told explained the problem to them and they said that they would look into it. They never came up to the room or called me back. After a little while we just decided to go to bed. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again if i was paid.

Ok location

The room was small, double, double. Didn't like the idea that I had to watch and listen to my roomate brush his teeth. The shower and toilet were tiny, reminded me of an airplane restroom. Very convient location, clean, breakfast was ok. No major complaints. If your staying overnight you should be pleased with the hotel, the staff was available and worked on all my issues. I would and will stay there again.

Good Place to stop

Good average hotel. We stopped late and night and left early the next morning before breakfast. Room was clean but small. Beds were comfortable. Noisy neighbors and door slammers made sleeping difficult. Staff was pleasant and helpful
