We were welcoming our son home from Iraq

We stayed one night at this hotel in Colorado Springs. It is located directly across from one of the gates of Peterson AFB, which was very convenient. When I ordered the room online, I stated that we were going to need a roll away bed and one was delivered within minutes of our arrival. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice and very helpful. The location however, wasn't as safe as I was hoping, I would have not let my 16 year old daughter go to the car alone.
Our son arrived home in the middle of the night and I was somewhat concerned that we wouldn't be able to get back into the hotel, or that we would disturb others going in and out that late. They accommodated us by putting us in a room right next to the side door that opened with our room key. All in all it was a perfect place to stay for the reasons we were there. I am not sure I would feel comfortable staying there more than a few days. There were many military soldiers and family that stayed in the hotel. The staff was very nice and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms were not the cleanest I have been in, but were comfortable. The che4ckout time was later and with being up most of the night that was a real plus for us.
All in all, I wouldn't mind staying there again. I just don't think it would be the best choice with small children.
