Very dissapointed in this hotel

Upon arrival, expecting to find the one-bedroom suite with living room and sofa bed that I reserved, we were placed in one small room, with two double beds and a small sofa bed crammed in the corner. When voicing my concerns for our large family needing extra space, the front desk staff seemed unconcerned and unsympathetic. We dealt with where we ended up, but it would have been nice if the front desk staff would have been friendlier. The hallway carpet was dirty, needed to be vacuumed. The same small pieces of trash were on the floor the whole time we were there. When we went into our room, there was any empty coke can in the closet, no trash bag in the trash can, and an overall feeling of uncleanliness. The back door entrance from the parking lot was propped open every time we entered and exited. The swimming pool was okay, but could have been cleaner. The free continental breakfast was very picked over, not kept replenished with fresh food, which was an added expense for our family because we had to go out for breakfast. If it hadn't been a holiday weekend, I would have definitely searched for another hotel.

Never stay at the Comfort Inn in Chattanooga, TN

The parking lot was uncomfortable, I felt unsafe with the individual who drove through the parking area. The room was only cleaned two day of the entire trip; no option for limited service. The pillows were HARD and the sheets unclean. The staff was not interested in their customers. There was no working ice machine on my floor, I had to go to the next floor and hope that ice machine would work. The real problem came when I WAS STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR FOR NEARLY 30 minutes. The fire department was finally called to correct the elevator system. No one at the front desk nor any staff member talked with me to make certain I was emotional "okay" and I received no explanation or help. This was terrible! Comfort Inn had been recommended to me by a friend, she used Comfort Inn's in other states. This was a VERY POOR experience. You should rate this motel POOR.

Good for the price

This hotel was a pretty good value. You can tell the hotel has been remodeling. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Kind of a strange layout though. Outdoor pool only which was not open when we stayed.

Not worth the cost!

Room was old, smelly and not very clean. Floor was filthy. Shower head practically came off. I had to work on it myself to get it functioning. Sheets looked old and worn! Family was very dissapointed and vowed to never stay there again!
