This "resort" is made up of individual modular buildings that are cozy, but bright with the many floor to ceiling windows in the living room and clear story windows elsewhere. Though each unit is compact it is perfect for a couple and very efficient in total design. The Jacuzzi/bathtub/shower was too small for being used as a Jacuzzi unless you were 5'2" or less. There are plenty of amenities on site and the distance from the center of Sedona affords some country quiet, but good views.
The staff were very accommodating. We found our unit very clean and the only glitch was a water problem where water from the Jacuzzi leaked into the kitchen area leaving a large puddle. The platform bed was very comfortable, though the bedroom was quite tight and we had to place one rollerboard suitcase on the floor of the closet. We are planning a return visit in late October.

We had an end unit, and were able to watch hot-air balloons rise over the nearby hill each morning while we ate our breakfast on our deck. I'd go back again if I had the chance.Resort Experience:It was one of the best vactions we've ever been on, right up there with our very expensive tour to Italy! It was very hot while we were there (105 degrees), but it was a dry heat (we're from the Northeast, which is always so humid), so it was really quite nice. There was so very much to do there - we could have easily stayed another week or so.

Take a day and drive up to the Grand Canyon. I'd recommend a weekday, as weekends are pretty crowded. Arrive before 10am to avoid park entrance lines.
