A frustrating experience, not like most Embassy Suites!

My nine year old daughter and I went to the hotel as a mini-vacation, planning on staying in the hotel and enjoying the room and pool facilities. From the time we arrived, we noticed there were things missing from the advertised description of the room! There were no in-room movies or video games, not even a hair dryer in our room. The room was very old in decor, including a FLOOR MODEL television that looked to be from the 70s! The furniture in the living room was worn, there were holes in my sheets. There was splattered food on our door that took 3 requests to get cleaned! We were one of the first in the pool each morning, and had to clean the dead bugs out ourselves!! There was a VERY rude pool attendant who yelled at my daughter and told her "don't jump in the pool", as soon as we walked through the door! Some of the staff was overly nice, but there were a few that ruined it for the rest! The lobby was gorgeous and the breakfast was excellent! On check out day, we were locked out of room at 15 min prior to checkout while we were attempting to load our luggage into our car. Staff blamed it on us not getting out of the room in time!!! We will try somewhere else next time. This was WAY too much money to spend for the problems we encountered.

The rooms need to be renovated. The beds are the worst I have ever slept on (or tried to sleep on). Staff was nice.

Nice hotel and the front desk was very accommodating with our request for a room on the opposite side of the freeway. The lobby was beautiful, breakfast excellent and the managers reception a nice touch. The room was not as clean as I would have liked. Carpet was worn and stained. Caulk in shower was stained and air vents had dust caked on them. No fan in bathroom and no vents in bedroom so the living room was cold while the bedroom was warm. Also no business center but they are working on that.

Right from check-in, you can expect to be treated with courtesy and genuine concern for your comfort. All my requests for service were pleasantly and efficiently met. The food was wonderful, both for dinner and at the free breakfast buffet.
