Hi Quality, Family orineted

There's lots good to say about this hotel, and really nothing bad. The room is as nice as any I've ever had, with a true "suite" configuration. There's a door between the kitchen, eating, desk, sofa and TV area and the sleeping area (which has a separate TV.) I'm one who goes to bed early and arises early. My family is the opposite. We could coexist without stress! The Kitchen contains a range, microwave and full size refiridgerator/freezer. The sofa in the TV room folds out, and you could sleep six if you were willing to give up some of the privacy mentioned above. Internet access was free, both WiFi and wired. It seemed a little slower than most DSL, but not remarkable so. There's even a way to print from the room to the business center. (I didn't try this). The beds were fine. The Bathroom was clean and functional. The pool is small, and the TikiBar is at an adjacent Hilton Hotel (about a 30 yeard walk across a partking lot. The buffet breakfast was extensive, with scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon and sausage, a variety of pasteries and juisces, cearals and coffee. There's also a manager's lite dinner on Mon-Thurs. We had ravioli last night with complimentary beer and wine. It was really a decent meal. I can't believe how expensive hotels are in the Orlando area. We paid $144 with travel website discount (plus $18 in taxes). This was on the low side for hotels with non-generic rooms, but the value-minded could pay less. You get what you pay for. The overall quality of this place made it a good value, in my mind.

An excellent place to stay.

I would go out of my way to stay at this hotel again. We had a wonderful suite consisting of two rooms and two TV's. We could close the door between the bedroom area and the living area so one could sleep late or go to bed early and not bother the other one. The people at the desk were very helpful when we wanted directions to a Walmart. The hotel provides a paper with directions to the airport, the parks, and other places that one might want to visit. The directions are accurate and easy to follow. The breakfast was outstanding. The evening reception was also very good. It was not meant to be dinner but it certainly qualified as a light supper. They offered different things each night. There is a menu on the refrigerator in your room so you know what they will be serving. The reception also included beer and wine. I did not see any uninvited guests at breakfast or supper. The hotel itself was clean and attractive. There was a swimming pool that got a lot of action. There was an exercise room and a room with two computers for the guests to use. We took advantage of the coin laundry as this was our second week of vacation and we needed to start it with clean clothes. The laundry area was clean and well taken care of. You cannot go wrong staying at this hotel.

We were traveling with a party of 6: 3 small children + mother in law and we appreciated the free breakfast (eggs, sausage, waffle maker, bagels, and more) and the free light meals in the evenings ( burgers, hot dogs, mac & cheese) and the free shuttle to disney. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and a CVS, plus the staff was exemplory. Everyone was courteous, friendly, & helpful.

We loved the free breakfast buffet and internet useage. The only flaw : local moochers. Two young men were being questioned by police after hotel staff found them roaming around the hotel. We reported to the hotel front desk a older man who we witnessed locking up his bike 3 days in a row, and proceeding to the free breakfast buffet. There were also some local kids who we watched crossing a field to come and play basketball on the hotel property. we werent staying at a local park, so it was a little frustrating.

Nice

Nice, Clean, and Comfortable Rooms. My wife and I have three boys (11, 8, & 2 yrs of age) and were visiting Universal Studios. Our room was spacious and he never felt like we were bumping into one another. The kitchen was a major plus...the refrigerator was full-size and brand new. The breakfast was very nice....however, eat early...the dining area quickly fills up and the staff had a difficult time replenshing the buffet before the serving trays were wiped clean again and again...If I were visting Universal and not staying at a Universal Park hotel ... I would stay here again.
