We stayed at the Embassy Suites Boca Raton this month, and I was nicely impressed by the building, the decor and the staff.

We were there for a Flyertalk.com get together, and one of the staff arranged a good rate for us - $103 a night. This was similar to the AAA rates, but a little lower for the dates. We had a handicapped access room.

We got a suite (they are all suites, I believe) with a living room, bathroom/vanity and a large bedroom with two double beds. While the beds were a bit hard and the pillows much too fluffy, everything else was delightful. I hate the types of pillows that flatten to nothing with the slightest pressure, but blow up on either side of your head like a marshmallow on steroids - and these were those type. I called to housekeeping to see if they had any firmer pillows, but there were none to be had. I therefore wrapped up the laptop bag in a towel and used that - and slept much better.

The living area had a couch, chair, and table, as well as a TV. There was a microwave and minifridge, a closet with extra blankets and pillows, and the vanity was separate from the bathroom so two people could use the area at the same time.

The bedroom had a small balcony you could walk out on with a pleasant view of the lake behind the building, and a there was a large flat-screened tv in the room.

The breakfast included in the room price was great. It was buffet style, but you could also get pancakes, crepes, or an omelet made to order as you watch. There were pastries, cereal, fruit, bacon, eggs, sausage, french toast, juice, coffee or milk available. It lasted several hours, for both the early and late risers. There are also free drinks available at happy hour.

The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, and there were lights everywhere. The valet parking is not required, so the budget-conscious (we wanted to save the $8 a day) could self-park nearby.

The location is convenient, but the entrance isn't. It is right off Yamato Road and I-95, but the entrance isn't well marked at night - you can easily drive right by it without seeing it, as it is tucked away behind another hotel and lots of trees.

There are lots of nearby eating options, including an Ale House, sushi restaurant, italian, and fast food. It is close to the Morikami Japanese Museum and Gardens, close enough to the beach, and several other great spots. I highly recommend the place.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our trip to Boca Raton and the Enbassy Suites were the best choice we"ve made in a hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with printing out directions to places that we wanted to see. The rooms and overall appearance of the hotel was very clean. beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was one of the best i've ever had. i have no complaints and will stay at the embassy suites again and again.

My wife an I stayed five nights at this great facility! Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean every day. The wait staff, from front desk to housekeeping, was exceptionally helpful and courteous. The complimentary Breakfast buffet served every morning in the Atrium was wonderful. Eggs to order, fresh fruit, pastries and bagels and all the trimmings made our stay a delight! The rooms are very quiet, beds VERY comfortable and always crisply clean. Towels are huge, and soft. When we return to visit our children in Boyington Beach, this hotel will be our choice again!
