Stayed in mid-Jan. w/girlfriends. Room very clean and big. Very friendly staff. Beach small but just right for us. Could watch dolphins from our window. Love it! IHOP was very yummy. Walked wherever we wanted to go. Thinking of booking again for my family.
Winter get-away

Stayed at this hotel while checking out the Tampa area for a winter home. Friendly service, clean rooms and convenient location made this a great choice for me. Took a partial ocean view room and was able to enjoy the view from my balcony.

The staff was great. Our room was clean and over looking the ocean, which we upgraded to when we got there. FYI the 3rd floor is a smoking floor. The free coffee in the lobby was good too. The IHOP restaurant's food was excellent. We even ordered breakfast sandwiches to go and ate them at the beach one morning The gift shop across the beach had all the souvenirs you could think of for decent prices. The ocean was nice & clear, hence the name 'Clearwater' .The boats & jet skies that anchor at this beach didn't really bother us. They only came around on the weekend. We can't wait to go back again.

The previous reviews were right on target. However, we did not find the attached IHOP overly expensive. The hotel was extremely clean, elevators were prompt to respond, the staff were very friendly and willing to assist in any manner. the location was ideal (only two blocks from the main beach area of Clearwater Beach), even with a gulf "view" room the view was super. This was our first stay at this hotel while in Clearwater Beach; this will be our beach home on future trips. The entire experience was fantastic. "Try it, you'll like it!"
