Right on the main drag coming into Cresent City. Bay and fishing wharf across the street. Good beds, great dinner next door, great breakfast included.
Excellent Place to stay

Actually the only place we stay when in Crescent City when we go...have stayed at some other places and some upscale and some not so upscale. The breakfast is a good one for those who just need a breakfast and arent into the whole upscale fancy.... I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay across from the harbor with the sounds of the ocean in the background. You can hear the fog horn and the sealions and there is a restaurant on the harbor that is to die for. The fog rolls in and the sunsets are fantastic and the ocean life is the greatest. This hotel is in an excellent location and you can walk to the beach or drive to many great locations around the small city.

I booked a one night stay here for a sporting event. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the breakfast included with my stay was more than adequate. Overall, the room was an excellent value. I would definitely stay here again, and I would have no problem recommending this hotel to my friends.
Overrated

This motel is way overrated. It's a one, maybe one and one half stars at best. It's an old place that's had some cosmetic upgrading. The room was small, had an awful antiseptic smell, the walls were not sound proof, the bedding was substandard, the carpet was worn and the breakfast was just adequate. For the price, this place was a ripoff. I'm sorry I made the reservation through the travel website.
Comfort while seeing REDWOODS

Great location to easily reach area sites, easy access to information centers, great hot breakfast (ham, eggs, sausage, gravy, fresh fruit, etc.), good layout of buildings and clerk was perceptive and competent in meeting individual needs.
