QV Hotel, Great Location Ok Hotel

The QV hotel is a older hotel in a Great Location. The lobby and rooms were clean and remodeled. Really pretty good for a older Hotel. Balcony was dirty and no chairs, but we were there one of the first sunny weekends of the year and they had not do it over the winter.. Pool was fine and clean. Staff was fine. The parking was only $4.00 and was full and we had to park in the overflow lot and they did not charge us all weekend. Would stay again.

Good location, spacious rooms, little dated

We went there recently with two kids. Overall a good choice with a reasonable price.

Considering the cost of hotels in Victoria, this experience was great. The hotel has been redone in the last couple of years and is very nice. The location is very convenient, the staff is helpful, and the parking was pretty good...either right at the hotel or just across the street. If you plan to visit the BC Museum, the location couldn't be better; it's right across the street.

Queen Victoria: great value for the money

We had a great time here. One of the desk clerks was a little surly when we arrived but redeemed himself later by his much-improved demeanor - no big deal. Fantastic location with the Thunderbird Park and Royal B.C. museum right across the street, and it is walking distance to waterfront area and entire downtown stores. The room's balcony was an unexpected treat, as was the Jacuzzi, Pool, and exercise area. The restaurant in the hotel is very good but a bit pricey, but it has a nightly candlelit dinner menu that is an especially good value. We did not want to leave, and will definitely stay here again if we visit Victoria. Well worth the money!
