Poor Value

Rodeway Inn is a deceiving name. It's actually a motel. The security lock on the door was broken, making us feel unsafe since the door opened directly to the outside. The room smelled and the AC/heater was so dirty we were afraid to turn it on for fear of what would blow out of it. The mattress was comfortable enough, but there was a plastic mattress cover on it that made me sweat even though the room was cool. The continental breakfast was below standard (not even decaf coffee available) and the tables were right in front of the registration desk. When we asked the desk clerk for a restaurant suggestion, he simply handed us a booklet. The room was the tiniest I have ever stayed in. It was incredibly overpriced for what it offered. We paid for three nights, but were so unhappy there, we checked out after the second night.
what do you want for the price?

The motel was alright for the price. Old, but clean enough. The heater was very loud, so you couldn't put it on and watch the tv.

This was all that was available no wonder why! The room wasn't clean and it smelled. The owners/managers were awful. They called me 5 times before I arrived to make sure I was still staying. Once I checked in and saw the room they wouldn't let me out of the second night.
The worse hotel I have EVER stayed at..The Bates Motel

We pulled into the driveway and my husband and I just looked at each other - as if to say - Holy Cow! The room as noted in other reviews was stinky. Had a musty yucky smell. Every window was left open - I assume to help get rid of the smell. We did not turn the a/c on as we feaared that it would smell worse than the room. I was deceived by the hotel name - I thought that a Roadway Inn would be worthy of our money. Not so. The breakfast was ok - 3 different kinds of cereal, an frozen omelet and toaster waffles. The dining area was right in front of the registration desk - I mean like 6" away. We enjoyed the area and only slept at the hotel.
