Comfortable Stay on a budget

This hotel is a little old to look at but honestly its quality of services far exceed the reviews that I read before I decided to stay at this hotel. The staff is excellent and I was made to feel right at home as soon as I walked through the door. Though they just have one food outlet, their multi-cuisine menu makes up for not having many. I especially liked their breakfast spread. Quite a steal for the price. Rooms are exactly what you expect from a three star hotel. It has almost everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. The best part is complimentary wireless highspeed internet !! But as an independent traveler and mystery shopper, I would say that I think this hotel would be a great choice if you are visiting Richmond on a budget. The prices are rightly set and the value for money is immediately visible. Hope I have been able to help.

Being a business traveller, I believe that we just have "stays" that can either be called pleasant or unpleasant. Nonetheless, this hotel has managed to draw my attention to the forever pleasant "Stay Experience" that they offer everytime I have stayed here. Their biggest strength is their staff starting from the concierge to the Reception Desk to the Restaurant & Room Service guys. They leave me with a positive thought long after I checkout. I think I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect vacation within budget or a great weekend stay. No matter what it is, I am sure this hotel will give you nothing but an Excellent Service. I do not see why someone should choose to stay at this particular hotel and write negative reviews about location because there are plenty to choose from that can fit ones individual criteria! Otherwise, there don't seem to be any negative aspect of staying at this hotel. I hope this review is helpful to you.

Very bad location behind a Home Depot next to some sceary looking apartments. Arrived at night and payed way too much thinking that meant it would be a nice hotel. Very disappointed.

Staff was spot on. The hotel itself was just wonderful. The food in the restaurant was perfect. Excellent place. Will stay there again and again.
