We booked this hotel through the online travel website website...it was ok. The room was clean, and the housekeeping dept. did a great job everyday. We WERE in the "tower" as others have metioned, but other than the elevators it was ok. Would have been nicer (and better rooms I would think) in the main building. All the employees I dealt with were very nice. The pool was good, but still trying to figure out where all the amenities listed under hotel details were. Had one restaurant that advertised kids eat free and breakfast bar, but had neither. The onsite gift/convience store was well stocked but pricy. Most items were double what they could be had for, but hey, saves you some steps. The complimentary shuttle to SeaWorld costs 5 per person as well. Was in a very tourist-ty area, lots of t-shirt shops and "all you can eat buffetts". Would recommend anyone wanting to stay away from that go further north or south along I-dirve.
All in all a decent place to stay, no real problems with anything they provided. Would stay there again if the price was right compared to the other hotels.

Hotel front desk very friendly and helpful, the staff was on the ball. it is an older hotel but very clean and staff goes out the way to make your stay a good one. located in a very nice area, close to all attractions and you will never need a rental car. I took the trolley or the hotel has bus service for a small price. cab rates were not costly. the pool area was very clean and pool was great. will tell people to stay here off site than to go to attractions on site hotel.
don't waste your money

We stayed in the tower. The room was a little out dated. There was some water damage on the cabinet that housed the refrigerator. The bathroom was old and run down looking. The bed was very comfortable and the service was good. Great location. Overall this hotel was good considering the price.

It wasn't that the hotel was terrible, it just left much to be desired. I stayed in the tower(not so nice-upgrade!)
PROS: -Great Beds
-Housekeeping timely & efficient
-Great proximity to Wet N Wild - Universal Studios , plenty of great cheap restaurants, buffets(limitless in fact) -Great location if you don't intend to drive while vacationing. -Pool looked inviting ( I wasn't able to take advantage because the weather(mid-Feb :S) made so impermissible) -
-Hotel provides complimentary toiletries ( which my partner utilized)
CONS -Front desk personnel have luke warm temperaments at best(should have expected this from the moment I called to confirm my reservation & the woman who answered sounded at if I was interrupting her Ham Sandwich & a text message, LOL) -We were able to walk to Universal Studios from hotel (Wet & Wild pretty much across the street)(l (we were screwed when it came to the hotel's complimentary shuttle - Only departs/returns twice a day(plus we were informed at the front desk when placing ourselves on the list for the daily shuttle that they will soon be charging $5pp for such said services to US & Disney parks. -Room did have the slight aroma of "Old Carpet" upon entry -Bathroom - a little creepy (Bathtub/toilet separate from sink area - no lock on door) -Tub backed up every shower -Beverage vending machines located far from Ice - Water damage evident - Fitness Center look okay, but smelled terrible!!!(Could stand smell at all)- Upon departure Hotel claimed to not call cabs(they a recommended $50 car service for a $36 cab ride to Airport :P)
