terrible experience

This was a nightmare from the start. The night I arrived for my stay there was a baseball game, so both of the nearby parking garages were full. I know this is not the hotel's fault, but they were unwilling to recommend an alternative to the valet parking. After getting to my room, I discovered that the air conditioning unit made a loud clunking noise. Definitely more noise than I would be able to sleep through. I asked to move to another room and was given a room infested with flying insects. The third room I was given also made a lot of noise from the window unit. Luckily it was cool enough outside that I was able to put it on vent instead of running the air conditioning. There also was no mini fridge like the hotel description says is in every room. For being redone in 2005, the rooms were a little shabby. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

The hotel is well situated in downtown with easy access to highways and facilities or sporting events. Reception staff were a bit unfriendly but staff providing service in the rooms were great. Breakfast was good although not included in the price. Beware of the parking option. The valet option from the hotel costs $18 per day and right next door is an open parking lot at half the price. You also needed to give the valet at least 10 or 15 minutes before you can get your car, so no opportunity for spur of the moment action. The reception staff were unwilling to provide alternative options to the valet parking and pretended to be ignorant of the prices of other options available.
Good spot for many events

Our stay at the Radisson was nice. Friendly service and a decent room.
Great location. Baseball stadium and Q Arena were right across the street.
R & R Hall of Fame, Football stadium and science center were an easy 15 min walk away.
Plenty of places to eat/drink on the same block and just around the corner.
Flannery's Irish pub was good. Local Heroes bar had lots of tv's and good beer selection.
A few notes: Valet Parking is $18/night (the other options were not much cheaper) and there is no free breakfast ($9 for the buffet).

We had a great stay in this hotel. It was our 2nd time, and we had a junior suite. The room was large and very comfortable, and the location is great.
