This was a great hotel. Overall very clean, comfortable and safe. The staff was beyond helpful and immensely friendly. The breakfast was much better than I expected. Make your own waffles and omelets with all the other cereals, muffins, donuts, etc. The coffee in the breakfast room was to die for with all the syrups and creamers of a coffee shop. I am very picky about healthy choices for my kids and found healthy cereal, oatmeal, fruit, milk and even yogurts. The plasma television in the breakfast room was nice for watching the morning news too. Although I wasn't impressed with the Omaha Zoo I was beyond pleased with our hotel. The only disappointing factors were tiny. The fitness center did not have working weight equipment but the treadmills worked awesome for my daily run. There was even a TV in the fitness room and water and towels. It is wonderful that there are still a few hotels out there that are affordable and family friendly.

We enjoyed our visit to Omaha. The other reviewers were correct, the construction on Dodge makes the hotel a challenge to get in out of, but it isnt difficult to figure out, its just a bit annoying having to go two blocks and turn around if you want to head north. However, that is not a fault of the hotel. The pool area was clean, the water could have been a bit warmer for my taste, but the kids didnt care at all. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was not the best ever just plain jane.
Best free breakfast!

Stayed 2 nights for zoo visit. Room was perfect for our family. 4 year-old slept on pull-out couch and baby slept in pack-and-play (which they provided). Clean other than a few cobwebs in corners and dusty curtain tops. Free breakfast was great! Big selection and pleanty of it. Place was a little difficult to find partly due to construction and poor street signage. Staff was excellent! Very eager to help make us happy. If you're looking for less ordinary they have some fun Theme rooms. Overall, a very pleasant stay. We'll definately be back.

I was a little dissapointed in the hotel overall. It was dark and drab (unlike the pictures on the internet). One day, housekeeping did not take care of the room and it took asking three times to get fresh towels and the trash emptied.
