"A fairly cheap place to stay in a hot location. If you want a nice place a couple of blocks away, it will cost you close to double the price. On the plus side the bath room had recently been redone, it was clean too. The sink was a pedistal, so the only place to put toiletries was on a small glass shelf. The bed was fine, linens seemed clean. The carpet was pretty nasty, old/kind of dirty. The halls were dingy looking. The staff was pleasant. The hotel is 1 block to the red line/4 blocks from the el. A mildly clean place to crash that is not just filthy, and still on the cheaper side. "
ok 4 the price

The hotel is old but kept up & clean. Television reception is very poor, as is the manager's concern when i informed him. Its a good location to the Loop & train, walking distance. ok for 2 star
Best location!

This hotel really wasn't the fanciest hotel I've ever been to but it was in a really good location. Pretty much centrally located for all sights and tours. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to see the beautiful city!
I will never stay here again!

Bathroom very new and nice. Room clean except for vacuuming in hard to reach places. Room very crowded. Walls need attention - paint, repair. Elevators need work. Met our needs for the price, but that is all. Good for the one night we stayed.
