Great stay- book directly with hotel, NOT ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE!

The front desk staff was nothing but WONDERFUL! The room was clean, comfortable, and had two accessible doors to enter. The mattress was extremely comfortable to sleep, the tub was a large, decent size, and the stay was very enjoyable. I would call the hotel directly first to see what rates they offer (especially with the AAA discount). They offered a much better deal than what online travel website had. Online travel website also was extremely difficult to work with AND once I checked into the hotel, had credit card issues with online travel website... I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but never again book with online travel website!
Avoid this place!

I was staying there on business. I am not a picky person, besides the place being clean. This was one of my worst hotel experiences. The cleanliness was terrible! I don't think it was cleaned after the last person checked out. The sheets were wrinkled and there were peanut shells everywhere--on the floor, in the bed, in the bathroom...I refused to walk around without my shoes and even showered in my socks. The place was filthy! I travel in Syracuse quite a bit and I always check to make sure I am NOT booked into this place.
Just be aware if you are looking to stay here!

This hotel was right off the Thruway so it was very easy to find. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit on the hard side but overall we had a good nights sleep (it was very quiet). Free breakfast was a nice surprise. There were lots of choices and the quality was good.
Failed to Honor Confirmed Reservation

Upon check in to the hotel, the Desk Manager advised that the property was full and that our confirmed reservation would not be honored. Assistance in finding another property to stay in that night was initially refused and then provided very reluctantly when we insisted that the hotel had caused the problem and the hotel needed to correct it. A followup visit to the hotel the following day to speak to the General Manager was unfruitfull and a promise by the staff that the GM would call us to discuss was ignored. We will not stay at this property again and are now questioning the commitment of Comfort Inns to honor their reservations.
Noisy and old

My first experience was finding my room's door held open by the lock bar, and seeing a dent in the door as if someone had kicked it hard. Didn't feel secure there at all. The hotel desk moved me immediately to another room. That room looked old, the bath counter wood was damaged and separating, also the walls around the tub. There were two roomfuls of children a few doors down and they were running around the hall and yelling for hours into the evening. I could not wait to leave! Doesn't come up to the "Comfort Inn" image.
