Quote: Most of my trips are for business and I don't pay for frills. This hotel provides just what I need, a place to rest before moving on.

I was very upset at this hotel.

Quote: The reason for my rating on this hotel was upon leaving, my husband forgot his pillow. As you can imagine he takes his pillow with him where ever he goes. He has had this pillow since he was a child. We were on the road from approximately 1/2 hour... Read the full Knights Inn Charleston East review

Quote: This was my first ever experience in West Virginia. And my friend and I were very pleased with the hotel. It was clean, comfortable, had a great pool and the location was great. Quote: Contractors started resurfacing the parking lot at 5 AM! Office apologized. They were not supposed to start before 8AM. A rude awakening after driving until midnight.

Quote: My son and I stayed at this hotel just to sleep during a long trip home. The young man that checked us in had everything ready which was great because it was late and we were tired. Hotel was quiet and we slept great. Nothing fancy, but good value... Read the full Knights Inn Charleston East review

Quote: This place was absolutely the worst! The rooms are of poor quality, and the breakfast is stale doughnuts. I was honestly afraid for my life! After being woken up by some stranger banging on the door, I called the front desk. They proceeded to ... Read the full Knights Inn Charleston East review

DO NOT STAY HERE

Quote: This is probably the worse motel I could imagine. The room stank and was filthy, and smelled of dog and old cigarette smoke. The whole place is creepy and should be taken off your list.\nThere are plenty of other lodging close by that are nicer,... Read the full Knights Inn Charleston East review

Cheap, cramped, and close to hwy, food, stores

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • November 1, 2007
Quote: The exterior seemed a bit outdated, as are most Knights Inns, but the individual room was newly renovated and clean. We got a king with a sofa bed and there was plenty of room. TV was nice and big and the bed was firm. The bathroom was small and... Read the full Knights Inn Charleston East review

Quote: The place looked seedy from the outside; the room number plate was missing from some of the rooms. Inside the room was fine but the carpet has an old, cigarette-like smell. For the price, though, it wasn't that bad.
