Fleabag Rathole

Wow. No words to describe the foulness of this motel. Not an Inn. NOT a hotel. I guess rathole sums it up. Filthy rooms. Ratty, ratty furniture. Our room had FAIRLY new carpet, and the reason for that is because the first night we stayed it rained. Yes, it rained straight thru the roof and all over our room. Apparently, this is not the first time it has occurred in the room. Do not be fooled by their description. Too cold to swim in the pool, and the hot tub was drained. There was someones DOOR (yes, DOOR) laying on the floor beneath our balcony. There was a road construction CONE hanging from the limbs of a tree. When I approached the desk about the status of the room (upon check in) I was given a 10.00 per night discount. Wow. I stayed because our family was staying there (we all booked long distance) and wanted to be near them. When I approached the desk regarding the leaky ceiling and my lack of sleep because of the HOURS of dripping the entire night, I was DENIED compensation. Let's see...no blow dryers in the room. No coffee makers in the room. No refrigerator. In essence NO AMENITIES WHATSOEVER. The paint is peeling. The wallpaper is peeling. The back of the doors have never been wiped. The furniture is old and raspy. Two towels per room, even tho I advance checked 4 people. Hmmm....they installed new toilets and behind the tank never bothered to patch/paint the area where the old toilets were (on the wall). This in 3 rooms. As well, they don't even bother to scrape the sticker off the front of the toilet. DO NOT STAY HERE. I PAID 100.00 A NIGHT. CRAP CRAP CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay away!

We thought this was a decent hotel, when you are on a trip you are not in the room very much anyways. The shower head needed some work and there wasn't much for Cable TV, but overall it was a comfortable room for the price paid.

From the rips in the curtains to the 10 minute wait for hot water, this was a miserable experience. Never again!!!
