I needed a place right in the 7th-street part of town near the river, and the Ramada was the right location. The desk clerks were accommodating and friendly. The room was fine. A beer at the bar on the roof was handy. Not many people around. Parking was convenient. Breakfast in BJ's on the main floor was fine. I didn't need dinner, but did note that BJ's wasn't open in the evening.

What a pleasant surprise I had staying at this downtown hotel. I was so pleased with the nice staff - everyone was so friendly and helpful. I had a beauftiful room with a great view of the lovely downtown area. The food was great - a real southern treat for lunch. The roof top lounge was a nice place to relax and meet with my business colleagues - it was a really nice stay with the kind of genuine kindness I haven't seen in a long time.
I highly recommend this very nice property and will look forward to a return visit.

gym is not at site and there is a $5.00 cost. Employee do not know where the gym is! The dining area is closed, which would have been nice to know.
