This floor has free high-speed Internet access in the rooms for your PC, as well as a PC with it in the lounge.
What made this four-day visit so enjoyable was the lounge. It was large--three rooms--and open all day (until 10pm) with sodas and bags of chips and pretzels and popcorn. Between 5 and 8pm, there were excellent hot and cold hors d'oeuvres available. We expected a complimentary breakfast but were treated to a spread of berries (blue, black, straw, and rasp), yogurt, melon balls, several kinds of delicious muffins, croissants, and this continental breakfast included eggs Benedict--and not just the traditional with Canadian bacon but one with asparagus! But we complained because there was nothing heart-healthy, so lo and behold, a basket of bagels was served!
This excellent service went along with the glamorous early 20th-century lobby. The hotel has several pricey restaurants, and there are more within one or two blocks. There is a concierge on the Tower level and one in the lobby to help, and now they should be able to do so even more since I taught them about www.openlist.com, which provides links to user and expert reviews of most restaurants that can be selected by cost, neighborhood, number of stars, cuisine, and extra features, such as view.

The following morning, we asked for a room change and although told initially that the hotel was full, we were finally given another room, which although did not smell was not much better. The room we booked had two bathrooms, but these were so small that it would actually have been better to have one larger room. They also desperately needed modernizing.
We travelled from Scotland and were suffering jetlag on our first morning and were awake at 3:30am. When two of us went to the lobby to try to get some coffee, we were told by reception that it would be available at 6am!! This hotel is allegedly a 3 to 4 star hotel and it was unbelievable that we could not get a coffee any where. The coffee finally arrived at 6:30am.
This hotel is based in a fantastic location where you can walk to many of the sights; however, the quality of the hotel is not great and I would not return.
