Not close to Airport

My wife and I had to overnight at Logan Airport and picked this hotel because it was the cheapest and supposedly only three miles from the airport. However, the taxi fair was about $30 each way - not during rush hour traffic. This added $60 to the cost of the hotel room.
For some reason I expected it to have free shuttle service since I chose airport hotels.
Disappointing

The lobby was beautiful and the fresh bouquet of Lilies filled the entire area. Then it was down hill ...when they gave us a room we did not register for and did not tell us. We stood in a long registration line twice. They tried to fit us into a small room than requested, They promised us free breakfast to compensate us for the inconvenience and after reviewing our bill all breakfast charges were charged to us, we had to request to have them removed. We had to watch our bill for charges they were not ours. Our room was cold and the bathroom very small.
Terrible!! Don't waste your money here.

I booked this hotel last minute to go to a conference, as it was the only one I can get. For one person, I could get only the junior suite (nothing else was available) for over $*.00 a night. It did not appear very clean, but I did not pay to much attention that night as I was exhausted. The following day I arrived at 4pm, hoping to take a nap, and I found that my room had not been cleaned yet!!! I went in, as the ladies were around, and I sorted some documents while the cleaning lady did my room (in less than 10 minutes) only cleaned the washrooms and did one bed, as the other one was done. I had taken my earrings off and left them on top of one of the beds. I had my nap, and when I woke up, I could not find my earrings. I kneeled down, to look under the bed and did not find my earrings, but found SEVERAL PIECES OF GLASS OF A BROKEN GLASS, NEXT TO MY KNEE, A GRANOLA WRAPER, A WATER BOTTLE PIECE OF PAPER, AND OTHER PIECES OF GARBAGE, INCLUDING AND OLD ADVIL !!!!! I called the reception, and AFTER 6 TIMES TRYING, finally someone answered and when I told them what I found, they said" we are sorry" we'll send someone from housekeeping. The housekeeping person took 40 minutes to come (I needed to leave for a dinner) and I said look what is under the beds. She kneeled and said I will clean this. The front desk said he could not do anything for me (like a refund!!!) as I had pre-paid with the online travel agency. He offered a "free breakfast"!!!
