DIRTY ROOMS

  • March 6, 2009

We picked this hotel because we had stayed at other Americas Best Values before. This was the dirtest hotel I have ever seen. We had to wash the night stand and table and the wash cloth was black. The carpet wasn't vacuumed, there were candy wrappers all over the floor. The bathroom light didn't work, nor the TV remote. When the repair person came, he just gave us another remote that didn't work and told us the light couldn't be fixed. We complained to him about the cleaning, he said the help was bad. We complained at the front desk and were told that we were lying. NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

Not a good place for family

The hotel was an older one repainted. The rooms that were non smoking smelled of smoke, there were holes in the bedspreads from cigarette burns.. and holes in the curtains from age. They were dark and nasty smelling... During both nights we were disturbed by prostatutes coming and going and we were woken up the first morning by some girl knocking on doors asking for a lighter...This is a poor quality motel and needs alot of upgrading. I do not recommend this motel to anyone. The price was cheap, but so was the place. The area overal was not too bad, just the night traffic there due to the cheap rooms I think. The place is run my a family from India and their English was not good either.. The Continental Breakfast was nothing but a bowl of cereal and coffee.. but there are nice restaurants a miled north of the motel. Access to and from I-75 was good.. overall...pass it up go somewhere else..

some of the lights in the room didn't work. They sent a men to check; he said it was something with the wiring and if you jiggeled the switch it would start to work. Hello FIRE HAZZARD

room housekeeping was minimal, skimpy with towels and ammenities. Fishing hole was dried up. offered complimentary breakfast, waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, Location great was quiet even near main highway.close to 75 ramp. Nice pool. There is another location closer to the sightseeing sites, but this was nice. close to gas station and grocery store and weekend flea market.

Only a Budget

During check-in,the person at the front desk was talking on the his cell phone and acted as if I was bothering him. He even had the nerve to "hush" me when I had a question about my room. The rooms are outdated and the photos are not an accurate representation of the hotel. I recommend this hotel only for people on serious budget. If you have a few more dollars to spend, DO NOT STAY HERE!
