Quote: Nice time. I got an upgrade because all the two queen rooms were booked. The desk clerk asked me if I would consider a king room with a Casino/Falls View and a jetted tub. Yes, please! One small gripe. I wish internet was free (it was * a day) like most every hotel I have visited in the last two years.
Quote: 4 stars with barely 1 star service... Would never stay at this hotel and other hiltons anywhere.
Quote: My spouse and I had 3 nights reserved in advance through website. We check the voucher option for $*, a one time charge. Forward to the day of checkout. We get our bill to find it is $* (cad) MORE than the confirmation email states! We try to fix this with the GM, she give us a run around with no resolve in sight and we have to sign the check out bill, of course. We get home, email the GM again, trying to resolve this, no avail. My spouse files a dispute with the credit card In the process of gathering paperwork and information for the CC company we find out that not only did Hilton upgrade our package without our consent, the voucher deal they offer on the website checkout form adds $* to EACH NIGHT you stay, not "a one time... Quote: First off, the location of the hotel is great and easy to access the Falls area. It is located right across the street from the new Fallsview Casino which provides CHEAP parking DO NOT park at the the Hilton - it's WAY expensive and takes FOREVER to get your car via the valet service. The casino area has many restaurants that were delicious and towards the back of the casino is a paved walkway with many photographic sites and is just steps from the incline to take you down to the falls ;two dollars per person - WELL WORTH IT)! The Hilton Hotel lobby is nice but very crowded as the hotel itself is very large. The pools are always crowded. The room we had was very small and we found hair in the bathroom ;on the floor, in the shower,... Read More
Quote: Things went smooth and were fine but I would have to complain about the cleaniness of the room, while not BAD I would mention that as we were checking the room to make sure we didn't forget anything-I was traveling with 4 children-we were checking under the bed and found a pair of shoes, that did not belong to us. While on the ground I also saw the dust on the lower shelf of the night stand; between the beds was so thick one of my children wrote the date in it. The other complaint; is that I think people should know that this hotel is actually 3 towers the smallest having 15 floors; 3 hotels in one, and only one pool so it can be quite crowded especially if it rains.
Quote: We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Beautiful two room suite overlooking the American falls. Would recommend the two bedroom suite when traveling with older children. Door separates the front bedroom from the rest of the room, and gives the adults privacy. The Jacuzzi was great after walking around all day. Breakfast was wonderful in the Grand Buffet, each morning. We all loved the pool, slide, hot tub.
Quote: Pros: Awesome, breath-taking view of entire Falls. Windows stretched from ceiling-to-floor, so view was spectacular. Could see window from jacuzzi too! Two separate bedrooms gave privacy, but door between them cannot lock (keep in mind) King-sized beds were very comfy and there was a sleeper=sofa. The jacuzzi was very nice. There is a window so you can see out to the Falls and the bedroom. Thankfully there is also a motorized shade to block this view for privacy. Outside the bathroom is another sink area with a coffee maker. Cons: TV had great reception on only a few channels. Other channels displayed fuzzy images and many were blacked-out altogether. There was no channel-list so it was hard to tell what channels actually... Read More
Quote: Hotel staffs are very unfriendly. Me & my husband got into the hotel at 2:17 am on June 27, 2009 and was able to check-in (thru advanced reservations with travel online#41;, when we were at the door , the key doesn't work. My husband went downstairs to the lobby to tell them that the key is not working, the supervisor was very accusatory, accusing my husband that maybe he put it right next to a credit card and demagnetized. This is the type of people you're dealing with in this hotel. There was a construction going on, banging all over the place. On top of these hassles, days after we arrived in NJ, our credit card was charged for the hotel rooms (2 rooms) while our vacation was prepaid to travelocity. Won't stay in this hotel... Read More
Quote: We have stayed at many other hotels before but the hilton by far is the nicest. The room was very clean and the fallsview view was beautiful from our room on the 20th floor.
Quote: We stayed in the South Tower in a very nice room with a great view of the falls. But there were only three elevators to support 50+ floors! They are still installing the other three. One morning we waited 45 minutes for an elevator. Our kids were bored to tears (almost literally). The bell hop (very nice, BTW) said the record in the last few weeks was 1 hr and 8 mins. In addition, the elevator got stuck once, and a guest had to go in the hallway and close it from the outside to get it running again! We did not feel very safe. Also, the valet is not ready for the number of guests in this new tower. Average waiting time for your vehicle during busy time is 30+ mins. We actually woke up early on our last day, packed up the car, and... Read More
