My wife and I took another couple for the first time to Laurel Crest Resort to spend two nights enjoying Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg TN.
Laurel Crest was very clean. I could not see any corner outside that was trashy or unattended. The office staff were busy and pleasant. The video rental on property was a neat extra. Outdoor pools were located throughout campus. Gated access with security at night was comforting.
The one-bedroom deluxe was clean and well decorated. I'm unaware of the age of this property, but it looks new or very well maintained. The full kitchen had anything needed to provide a family meal. The sleep sofa faced a fireplace with a TV/VCR close to field of view. The balcony had access from living room or bedroom. My wife melted in jacuzzi-tub every night. The full TV/VCR set in bedroom with comfortable king-size bed. The other couple that accompanied my wife and I were excited and very impressed. . . as were we.
From the main road, Laurel Crest Resort has a driveway of about 80 yards. When leaving the resort, the driveway is beside a gas station that has a little breakfast nook. The convenience of getting gas before hitting the traffic was easy to take for granted.
I was overly impressed with Laurel Crest Resort and hope that I can return my appreciation in this small review.
