We stayed 4 nights at the Desert Palms. It is a great place to stay. IT is clean, the people are friendly and efficient. Our first night, the front desk was understaffed, poor guy, he was so very busy. I did notice that on subsequent nights, there were two people manning the desk. The breakfast was good. The selection was more than generous. eggs every day, meat and potatoes or biscuits. Two choices for cereal. The milk was COLD, yum. There is an assortment of juices and pastry, abundant choices for breads/bagels to toast. The dining room is a comfortable atmosphere. We asked for extra pillows and got them within ten minutes of asking. Overall a wonderful stay, we would stay again. Happy customers from Seattle

Its a dump

I stayed at the hotel for one night following a day trip to Disneyland in early May, 2009. The attendant barely spoke English which was quite annoying after driving all day and being exhausted. Our room we discovered had a lovely view of a garbage dump. In the morning their was a maintenance worker peering through our window while attempting to organize the dump. The toilet was in the middle of the bathroom with a lovely sanitary napkin disposal bag displayed on the top. We felt unsafe in this hotel and were very glad to be leaving the next day. The pool was closed until the end of May for repairs but that did not stop the hotel from charging us the daily resort fee. For what??

Desert Palms hotel, anaheim, CA

The hotel is adjacent to the disneyland resort and the breakfast buffet in the morning is really good. Good selection of hot/cold dishes and the staff is very attentive. It does get crowded very fast and so might want to get there early. Even though it is adjacent to disneyland it is still a walk (10-15 min) to get there and it more tiring to walk back than to get there beacuse of the all the time spent in the park. My only complaint at this hotel was the parking and elevators. There are only limited parking spaces in the ground floor and you have park in the basement if the ground floor is full. The elevators from the basement take you to only selected floors and you have change elevators midway. This is very confusing. Overall, if you are using the hotel as a place to sleep, then, it is a good affordable choice.

Nice Hotel

This would be a great hotel for a family on vacation going to Disneyland. Comes with a full kitchen, living room, and 2 queen beds. We were there for the Natural Products Expo, so the prices were a bit higher than usual. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds are average. Don't expect to get a bed like the Marriott. Breakfast is included which has scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Not bad for a day, but you will want to go somewhere else to get a good breakfast. I would use this hotel again.

Enjoyed it
