Overall Good--Room Layout/Set-up was Funny

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com

Quote: The facility was clean and updated and the service was good. However, the room set-up was a little cumbersome and seemed cramped. Maybe reassessing the furniture layout and sunken in rooms layout would be helpful.

Paid for a king size bed and they gave us the smallest room in the house with a queen bed

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: Nice hotel except the room they put us in was the size of a closet! I looked at the map on the rooms door and couldn't understand why we were stuck in a tiny room. When I called downstairs they said it was the only room that had a king size bed... Read the full Desert Palms Hotel and Suites review

Not bad, but not as close as it seems

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: I booked at a pretty good rate for being in such close proximity to the Disneyland theme park. I could look out the Hotel room window and see the California park portion, and it was close - but as the old Maine saying goes "Yah can't get there from... Quote: For the price and the close proximity to Disneyland there is not much to complain about. The staff was attentive and friendly. The included buffet breakfast was adequate. This is not a 4 or 5 star establishment and doesn't pretend to be.

Great location

Quote: They were very accommodating to our family of eight. It was a great economic choice that was only a block from the Disneyland entrance.

This location was an easy walking distance from the Center, Disneyland, great restaurants, etc. and has free and accessible hotel parking. This hotel had a secret plus for us! We went up to the... Complimentary breakfast was varied by day, but always some hot dishes.... Read the full Desert Palms Hotel and Suites review

Quote: I have stayed at alot of hotels in my life so I know the good from the bad. This hotel I would say is ok. If your taking the kids to Disneyland and your on somewhat of a budget and don't mind a bit of a walk, then this place will do the trick. Its... Read the full Desert Palms Hotel and Suites review
