To the room--the size of the room was average. With the two beds, I had no room for much of anything. The small table is stuffed in a corner. Good luck finding a place to set up the iron. When I opened the door, I was blown away by the heat (it was 80 degrees out). The temp. had been set at 75 degrees. Their thermostats are controlled by motion. No motion, no A/C. You like it cold while you sleep? HAHAHA. I had the A/C all the way down, and the lowest the temp. got was 69. Very uncomfortable. Get this: the room water is $7! I have seen expensive water in rooms before, but $7 is outrageous! Local calls are $1. Bathroom was average-size, and towels were of good quality. My view was of a pond/swamp and nothing else.
The walls of the room are paper-thin. I could hear both my neighbors' showers AND hair dryers. I've never been to a "four-star" hotel where I could hear everything in the next rooms.
Room service started at 7:30am, with the cleaning people yapping in the hallways, which you can hear under the 2-inch gap under the door. Very annoying. I recieved a newspaper two out of four days.
The common areas of the hotel are nicely maintained. The pool are is nice, although somewhat small for the size of the resort. There did seem to be enough chairs to accommodate everyone. There are a few chairs at the pond beach (not going into the water).
The hotel is a short 5-minute walk (or a 20-minute wait for the water taxi) to the entrance of CityWalk and the Universal entrances.
Overall, I would give this hotel a two out of four. I personally would not pay my own money to stay at this resort.
