Would stay here again

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The front desk was outstanding and the location was great. It's only about a 4 block walk to the historic district. I would recommend this place to anyone. They even served eggs with breakfast which also included sausage, waffles, pastries, cereals, fruit, and lots else. They have happy hour with free beer and wine from 5-7. The only thing negative is the pool is small but it served our purpose. The housing project across the street did not bother us at all. It was very quiet and also very clean and well maintained. You rarely saw anyone who lived there.

A Bargain in Savannah

We were towing a U-Haul and needed a hotel with lots of fenced in free parking so we selected the Comfort Suites. It is a mile from the historic district and for $143 plus tax we got a mini-suite with two wonderful queen size beds, a sleeper sofa, and a refrigerator-
microwave combination. We were sorry we didn't bring swim suits when we saw the indoor pool and hot tub. The desk staff were the nicest desk staff I have ever encountered in any hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable with lots of specialty pillows. I thought this would be a great buy for a family as it sleeps six. The free continental breakfast included hard boiled eggs, cereal, the usual English muffins, bagels and muffins as well as fresh fruit. The bus trolley tours all pick up at the hotel.

Great Room on Bay Street in Savannah GA

The room was spacious and the 20ft ceilings made us feel as though we were the only people in the hotel. I did not see any other guests in the hotel during our stay. My husband accompanied me along with our dog and we all had a good experience. The staff was helpful but not overly friendly. The room was clean and I slept well in the double bed. My husband however thought the bed was too soft. Another surprise was the sofa and coffee table in the living area of the suite. I did not expect to see so much room in the living area because the description on the website did not mention it. Overall a great hotel for the money in a convenient area of town.

We were slightly worried after reading a couple of the reviews on this hotel. Yes there is Public Housing across the street, we never had any problems whatsoever with it. Yes it isn't in the Historic District, River Street was less then a 5 minute walk, same for Historic District. We are a family of 4 and I will stay here our next visit, you can't beat the price, location, quietness of rooms, and great service by an obliging staff. If anything was lacking it was pillows, to soft. Other then that it was a great stay and I would like to thank the staff for making it so enjoyable.
