Inn at Sonoma - Best in the Area

My wife and I visit the Inn at Sonoma once every year for the past six years.
It's location is spectacular -- only a short two block walk to the downtown Sonoma square, and all those fabulous restaurants. No need to worry about parking downtown and DWI laws.
The hotel is relatively small - only 25 rooms or so, but each is very comfortable and well furnished. It's very quiet!
The Inn offers a fabulous hot buffet breakfast every morning, and a wine/cheese reception late each afternoon.
Among other things, there is covered parking, DVD players, hot tub, etc. However, it is not a place for those looking for expensive items like swimming pools.
Please note - we stayed at the McArthur Inn the first year. Whille it was very nice and the roooms were larger, the cost is about double the Inn. Plus, their breakfast is cold and unimaginative, and their parking lot is a dust bowl. It's a much further walk, as well.
While in Sonoma, dine att he Della Santina -- fabulous Italian food.
