Very nice facility

It's not the ritz but it's a nice facility. The staff could use a little work on being nicer, but the room was clean, the bathroom was clean (what a relief!) and there was no mold. If you are thinking about staying here and touring the Falls area, it's a few blocks from it, so be prepared to walk. My husband and I are older and it was quite a hike for us! It is VERY close to the Skylon tower, right across the street from the IMAX theatre, and near the Galleria, however. All is all, we'd stay here again!

A great deal!!!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the best western fallsview hotel for her b?day weekend. We only stayed one night, but already have plans to go back. I spent the whole week of our trip calling to make arrangements. I?m sure the multiple calls aggravated them, but each time they as nice as the first time. We booked a king suite, which also has a Jacuzzi and separate bathroom. Note to US citizens: rooms that have a Jacuzzi and bathroom have something called pocket doors. This means the doors slide inward of the door frames. This gives the appearance that there are no doors, but do not?I repeat DO NOT be fooled. pull the latch at the side, and privacy in bathroom I'm sure we looked like tourists because we had to call down there for assistance with the telephone and the balcony doors. The day before we left for Canada, I called and added a bottle of champagne and late checkout feature to our reservation, for a small fee. After our long trip from the US, we checked into the hotel(which was a breeze) and went to our room to find perfectly chilled champagne and two glasses. The boulevard bistro is on the ground floor of the hotel, and menus are at the front desk. They do not deliver to the rooms, and we didn?t want to leave ours. So X from the front desk sent us a menu and sent our food up to us as well. Julie was especially helpful. That evening, there were fireworks over the falls, which we could see perfectly from our balcony. The next morning, we walked down one block, and the falls were right there. We could see them from the corner of our hotel. All in all it was a great stay. We got a nice room, a sweet amenity and a paid parking sticker all for under $*** USD. Definitely ask about discounts, because they offer and honor them. If there was anything wrong at all, I saw a few ants in our room, but they were very small and few. But for the location and the money, this is a great buy. My girlfriend said that the best western has set the standard for what she expects from now on. And I have never heard that before!!! You go guys!!!

Excellent location for the value

ONLY complaint that I have for this place is the corporate website (www.bestwestern.com), where I booked this stay (actually 2 stays, one Thursday/Friday and the other the Monday/Tuesday just afterward, after the 1st stay), does NOT provide any warning that after securing the lowest cost accomodations using their paid-in-advance Internet Only rate, that an additional $10 PARKING FEE would be assessed. Otherwise, excellent location, good price, good security, clean room, 100% NON SMOKING. Their restaurant did not seem, FROM ITS MENU ALONE, to be worth visiting so we did not. But in easy walking distance are a NUMBER of excellent choices. The Happy Wanderer (German), My Cousin Vinnie's (Italian/American), Applebees, The Keg, Wolfgang Puck's, as well as a Brazillian Steak House, any number of eating establishments in the VERY nearby Fallsview Casino & Mall, etc. About 3 blocks from the Falls, an easy walk, with Bridal Veil Falls immediately visible after stepping out to the corner of the street.

A great place to stay with the kids

We spent this last Saturday at teh Best Western and we had a great time. The people at the lobby when we checked in were very very nice. We didn't know really what we wanted to do with our limited time there so they helped us make sure we got in the best things to do in the city. They are right across the street from the skylon tower ad the imax theatre so that was a great thing to do when it was snowing, we didn't have to walk far with the kids. The sklyon tower has a sort of arcade, carnival area there taht we spent a good 2 hours there with the kids. We had dinner there too, the dining room revolves so we got to see the whole city while we ate! It was so convenient to have the hotel right across the street. The Niagara Falls are only a walk down the hill so it took less than 5 minutes to walk down to them. The rooms were really nice and big. We got a room with the two queen sized beds they called the deluxe room. It was HUGE. Very nice for a big family. The pool was open for most of the day, it ws open from 8 in the morning until 11 at night so the kids could swim anytime they wanted. I would recommend the Best Western to anyone. It really was a nice hotel to stay at. The prices were really good, they were really close to everything our family wanted to see, the rooms were very big and very clean and al the staff we met were very nice. A good value for the area.
