ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND

As in 2007, we stayed there again on mothers day weekend 2008. The hotel, staff, front office personel was very accomodating with our entire group. I am once again looking forward to our stay again this year. Our group participates in an annual baseball tournament in the area and the hotel is just perfect for what we need. Great place to stay!!!!!

This is a great place to stay. I was with a group of handicapped children playing in a baseball tournament in the area. The hotel could not have been more accomodating to our group. The rooms were fantastic, the staff, with the exception of one minor incident, were very helpful, and the location we needed for our tournament could not have been better. The only problem we encountered was a problem in the breakfast buffet area. The staff there needs to learn how to be more responsive to what needs we have to have. Overall though, I am looking forward to staying there again this year.

This was a great hotel for a family stay. The staff was friendly. The pool was clean and lifeguarded (in the high season). Breakfast was a free hot buffet. Rooms are a bit bigger than your standard hotel room with a small sitting area separated from the bed area by a door (great if you want to put the kids to bed & stay up yourself). Mini "kitchen" of a microwave, refrig, cupboards and small prep area saved us a lot of money and energy in that we were able to eat a few meals in the room. Would definitely stay here again. Lots to see within striking distance of the hotel...VA Beach, Zoo, Aquarium, Nauticus....
Strange room

We got a suite at this hotel. It was nice and the bed was comfortable. However the jacuzzi/tub/shower was in the bedroom which was kinda strange. Also we literally had to rearrange the furniture in the other room (no door between rooms) so we could use the pullout couch! The couch bed was not comfy, but that's to be expected. The place was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave.
