Stay at this hotel!

The perfect downtown location, solicitous staff, spotless condition and superlative beds make this a wonderful place to stay. Elegantly appointed yet family friendly, the hotel has all the amenities plus friendly folks to take care of you. I found the valet parking staff to be especially helpful. I was in the area for business, but it's also a fantastic tourist district. The hotel was very quiet, had great views from my 10th floor windows. Plenty of pillows complemented the plush mattress, and Starbucks awaited me in the lobby when I woke up. I can't wait to go again!
Seriously?

Staff was very nice. That's where the nice things to say about the hotel. We were told we had a "Capitol view," which in fact, we did not. When I called the front desk, I was told, "Well, if you look out your window to the right far enough, you might be able to see. Maybe not though." The air conditioning was almost non-existent. And worst of all, midway through my daughter's shower on the morning we checked out, there was suddenly NO water. Not no HOT water...NO WATER. I called the front desk and was told, "There should have been a note under your door. The city has been planning this for quite some time." Needless to say, there was no note, but I promise you they hadn't forgotten to leave my bill! Furthermore, $20 a night to self-park in a hotel already charging high rates? Please. I won't be staying at this Sheraton again.

Did not meet expectations. Booked a room with a king size bed and was bumped to a room with double beds. Housekeeping did not replenish supplies for in room coffee maker and only had one cup. Was a disappointing experience.

Excellent hotel in quiet downtown area. Easy walk to all attractions including LP field which was the reason for our visit; a Titan/Packer football game. Staff at Sheraton Nashville was excellent, great food, very clean. Would definitely stay again.
Thank you Sheraton Nashville

We Stayed at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown. The location couldn’t have been better… only 4 blocks from downtown. The room was a good size. We had a King sized bed with a nightstand on either side of the bed, a large entertainment center that included several good sized drawers, a desk, a sofa, a coffee table and an end table next to the sofa. We also had a full sized closet and an average sized bathroom. There was a supplied coffee maker that made one cup at a time (my only complaint.. ONE CUP, are you kidding, I could easily drink a pot of coffee myself in the morning). There was a small stain on the carpet, but otherwise, it was very clean. The Furnishings were a very attractive dark wood. My favorite part of the room was a lovely picture of a road with trees lined on either side of it... black & white; I smiled every time I looked at it. Our view from our room was over the business district… lots of skyscrapers.
The lobby was beautifully decorated with the usual marble and high ceilings. It was set up like a courtyard, you could overlook the railing from any of the floors down onto it. The hotel had a great restaurant that we enjoyed breakfast in every morning, and a lounge/bar area that also was comfortable and attractive. One great amenity was the business center... I didn't have to pay a thing to access the internet and print out my boarding passes! We did, however, have to pay $20 a day for parking… this was unexpected as it was not mentioned anywhere on the website. They have a later check out than most hotels… at 12 pm. I feel that sometimes just that extra hour keeps the rush to get out at a minimum. They also had an indoor pool that we didn’t use. We did check it out though, and it looked clean and had plenty of area around it to sit. I did buy a few things from the gift shop which had a good variety of items: T-shirts, knick-knacks, post cards, magnets, sundries, refreshments & snacks.
Tip: I am an SPG member and only paid $135 plus 8400 SPG points for 3 nights. If we had just paid cash, it would have been $690 plus tax. With only points it would have been 21,000 points.
