Quote: My daughter and I stayed at this hotel to attend a concert at the Belly Up, which was within walking distance to the venue, as well as lots of nice shops and dining. The hotel was nothing special, but still very nice and clean and the staff was very... Read the full Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites at Solana Beach review

Quote: Hotel could use a refresh, but maybe it has since our stay. If it gets the Holiday Inn Xpress refresh, we would stay again most definitely. The price was right, and the free b-fast was fabulous- saved us a lot of money out and about.....

Quote: Located right off the exit, this was so convenient for our one night stay prior to heading into LaJolla. Quote: The room wasn't bad. You could tell from the yellowing glue residue at the ceiling that they had removed a wallpaper border. I think the hotel is undergoing renovations. The bath tub was a little small and was beige colored, so you can see the... Read the full Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites at Solana Beach review

Noisy

Quote: The layout of the hotel puts a row of rooms, including the one I stayed in, directly next to the pool. The pool was open until 10 PM with a boisterous party going on up until the curfew resulting in a lot of noise in my room. After the pool closed... Its not bad, but 3 stars even for holiday inn like in oceanside you have flat panel tv's, granite in bathroom, and a inviting entrance way. This is at best 2.5 stars, and you'll note on...
