Avoid the shower!

The showers were SAD! Take 3 super soakers and you have more water pressure then there. Terrible! Hope you aren't hungery. You will be waiting for that breakfast! Long lines. Some people get 4 waffles at a time. They don't restrict how mnay you can have and they only make 4 at a time,
I Don't Recommend This Hotel

Things wrong with the room: toilet broken, sink stopped up, coffee maker didn't work, bath tub would not turn on, dresser draw was badly broken, remote didn't work. The walk to the beach was very bad - longer than they claim, a narrow wooden ramp that passes through people's back yards to get to a steep drop to the beach. It was hard, awkward and when we discussed all the problems with the manager he was not helpful at all. I had made future reservations for later in the summer with them but I cancelled right away!!!

This hotel is perfect for a weekend get-away. Friendly staff. Night security. Beach access is walking distance. They have a happy hour (free beer) and breakfast.

We extended our stay after experiencing a great time on the island. People are very friendly and there is something of interest for everyone. Prices are very reasonable for lodging and restaurants. Would highly recommend the Travelodge for the money.

impressed with room size and decor. clean and everything included, frig, iron, micro, hairdryer, great breakfast. one block from texas moon bar great entertainment and food
