The only downfall we had at this resort was with the young children. We had to prevent the 3-year-old from closing doors or escaping out the front door of the lock out. We were also placed on an upper level, which meant carrying the 1-year-old up and down stairs. As someone else wrote, the main pool is a long walk from the Presidents Fairways. There was a small pool closer that was within walking distance that served its purpose though.
The unit itself was very clean and immediately had a "home" feel to it. All the amenities of a Gold Crown resort were present. It even has a wood-burning fireplace for those who like to travel during the winter. Our unit had the apartment-sized washer and dryer in it, which was very handy to have especially when returning from the pool!
The resort is away from the main part of Branson, which can be a blessing or a curse. It just depends on what you want to do. We went to Silver Dollar City, which was quite a drive from the resort.
There is an activity center on site which has several events planned for each day. We did not participate in any of the events, but it was nice to know that there were things to do if needed and the list looked entertaining enough. Seemed to be a lot of movies showing.
Overall we all really liked the resort and would definitely recommend to others!
