Disappointed

Very disappointed in this "Inn" I picked it because it was the closest to the beach I could afford. I read the reviews, but thought they were too picky. They weren't. The office was shabby and smelled bad. The staff person didn't speak or understand english very well. The first thing I thought was cheap, cheap, cheap! Took about 12 trys to get the key to open the door. Clock & refrigerator were unplugged. Had to find a plug for the clock and set time. Can't use refrig when you have to wait for it to get cold! Closet was 2 ft wide in corner of room and had to squeeze past the iron & ironing board to get to it. They store the iron & board against the wall next to the TV. Towels were very worn & frayed, pillow cases falling apart & pillows about 2" thick. No exageration!! Bathtub had grout fallen out all around making it look molded. The worst part was when another room used toilet, their water came bubbling up into our sink. Very disgusting to say the least - also smelled like sewer water. No ice bucket anywhere to be found. Leftover shampoo from previous rental in the tub. Found out later, we could have gotten a much better room right next to the beach for a few $ more. Never go here!

Worst Stay EVER!

The room smelled of mildew and stayed the whole weekend, the decor was from the 80s and not in a chic way.Milddew in the tub/shower, the kitchennett had no utensiles or pots to cook with so was useless. No AC. Rude staff. I cancelled my association with my online travel agency because if this place was rated 3 1/2 faces I can't trust any of their recommendations!

Price was right

Everything about this motel was okay. The main thing that turned me off was the staff. Three of us had one room and my daughter and sister in law had another. We all traveled together so we checked in at the same time. The first evening, I called down to the office to get the WEP key for internet access and got chewed out by the woman who answered the phone. She started telling me that we had five people in the room so I needed to come down and pay more money. I explained to her that we only had three in one room and the other two were in the second room. She was very rude and I just didn't like being accused of lying. The continental breakfast consisted on a few stale muffins, coffee and OJ, not too impressive. The rooms were clean enough except for the jar of relish left in the fridge from the previous guest. The great thing was that it was just a few short blocks to the beach and pier.

No air conditioning

I do realize that this is the coast but it was humid and muggy and when we entered the room it was sticky, and much to our suprise there was no air conditioning. The shower was incredibly small and dirty, it looked like it had not been cleaned. The dressers had dust on them, the oven stove had grease on it. The bed was not comfortable and we were frankly a little worried that it was dirty. The parking lot was very small and if you have a trailer you will not be able to park in the parking lot. It is however close to the ocean and the pier as well as many other little stores and it did have plenty of clean towels. Basically we would not go back there especially since we paid $* for one night and we felt like we should be getting more for what we paid.

The Beachwalker Inn & Suites in Pismo Beach was very roomy was suprised whatI got for my money, very good deal. Staff of the hotel was very curtious. Big Plus! WiFi The location wasn't the far from beach and downtown Pismo Beach, and the outlets as well.
