Fort Lauderdale Beach has changed, it is now loaded with high end fancy hotels and so are their rates! But right on the Ocean where you want to be, where is all the action (rollerblades, Joging, bicycle riding, motorsycle parade etc..) is the Sea Club. The hotel is old, but very well kept, clean, and very friendly staff! We made a good choice, location is the name of the game, and sice we just slept in our rooms, we enjoyed all the activities around.I told my wife, vacation only on the Beach and in a Budget hotel (I am not going to spend any money on those Fancy Shmancy hotels!) you aren't taking the furniture home, so why pay those hotels so much money? the choice was good! we will be back for New Year.

I didn't expect to enjoy this vacation as much as I did, the hotel is a budget hotel, and I think got the lowest rate in the area, but it is very clean, the staff are very friendly, they gave me free chairs and towels for the beach (good savings). Parking was included, and most of all their location is the best! the view of the ocean is priceless.

The lobby/pool area is nice but the rooms are old and need some upgrades. It is not a fancy hotel. We were a bit concerned about security when we arrrived but we had no problems. But given the great location and price, it's a good value for the money. Service was good, the on-site outdoor resataurant has a nice view and the food was good.

Just not what you would expect at a beach hotel that calls themselves a resort.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our yearly Florida get-a-way and we were both very impressed with the great deal we got with this hotel through the travel website. It is located just steps away from the fabulous beach and in close walking distance to many bars, clubs and shopping malls! The staff were very polite and helpful, quick to call you a cab or rental car, take your bags, and were friendly and laid back; they made us feel like we were at home. The room was just enough for what we needed. They kept it clean and well stocked. No fancy frills, but your not on vacation for the hotel, right?! As long as its clean and safe, and it was. The resturant was decently priced and had a great view of the beach and the famous A1A strip. I highly recommend this hotel for the laid-back traveller looking for a great bargain! I cant wait to get back to Sea Club!!
