WONDERFUL--Will be back

I had such an amazing time at this hotel. The location was perfect, my room was very comfortable and had a great view...but the best part of all was the incredible staff. I got snowed in while there and didn't even mind because the employees were such a pleasure to be around. The food and service at the bar/restaurant was fantastic. Try the nachos and ask for Bradford. I will definitely be back! Plus they give you warm cookies for practically any reason! The only negative thing I can think of is that it was over too soon.

Lovely Time in Tulsa

We choose this hotel mainly due to its proximity to the newly opened BOK center. We didn't have a car and wanted to be able to walk there from the Doubletree. It's a great location if you are going to see something at the BOK center which is about a 10-12 minute walk away (now bear in mind, we are New Yorkers so we are use to walking and consider this a pretty short distance.). We really enjoyed our entire stay at the Hotel. Front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a free airport shuttle that is often available to do short trips around town as well if you ask nicely (not always though if they get busy or are booked up.) They very graciously drove us to Brookside to meet friends at a restaurant. (Cabs are ridiculously expensive, basically it's at least $10 to go anywhere as friends of ours discovered.) There is a Starbucks, a bar and a restaurant in the Doubletrees Lobby. Our room was great and they have a beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Because the BOK center had just opened (we were there for the Idols concert and it was only the 3rd show in the center!) I will say that the Doubletrees and other area businesses did seem a bit "overwhelmed" by just how many people were flooding in. There were times when the desk didn't answer when we called from the room, and the restaurant and bar staff seemed to get particularly overwhelmed by the crowd BUT almost everyone was able to remain friendly and helpful despite the fact that they were clearly "in the weeds". Management just has to get better about staffing up as well as training their staff for these big "event" weekends.

People from Doubletree Hotel were very kind

All the people from the Doubletree Hotel Tulsa-Downtown were extremely kind and friendly. They helped us a lot. The shuttle transportation service was a really good option for us, because we didn't rent a car. The people from the front desk made a little mistake when charging to our credit card the feature of the parking place, but they solved it very quickly at the moment we were checking out. By the way, the Doubletree cookies were delicious.

Never Again

I will never stay at this hotel again. Very noisy and rude staff. Restaurant was okay, but over priced. Room cleaniness was not what it should be for a double tree. Location was great- by the convention center. The employees allowed a large group of kids to run around all night.

Good for business

I enjoyed my stay and will return. Currently, this hotel is the best in downtown Tulsa that I've found. Also try the boutique hotel Savoy for local flavor and a different location.
