Great Location: The hotel is half a block from Michigan Avenue, right in the heart of the city – you are literally right in the middle of all the action. Subways are just a few blocks away, so you won’t even need to spend a lot of money on cabs. It is a 45-minute train ride from O’Hare (CTA blue line) or a 20-minute ride from Midway (CTA red line) ($1.75 fare).
Great Rooms: This hotel used to be a residential hotel in the past, so the rooms are spacious. King-size suites have a separate living room, kitchenette, and bedroom along with a pullout sofa bed. Two-bedroom suites have a nice kitchenette and a bedroom area. The hotel provides you with free breakfast each morning, or you can pick something up and cook yourself a little breakfast. The kitchenette has a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, sink, utensils, etc. - all the luxuries of home. Rooms are clean and look like they have just been remolded.
Great Price: I went with friend this past weekend and got room for an amazing price of $80 a night - rooms across the way at the Marriott were almost double the price. If you are on a budget, this is the place to stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and I will definitely be back. I think the best compliment is that I've recommended this hotel to my friends and they too love this place.
It is close to many restaurants, bars, and shopping! You can't beat the location.
